BIOGRAPHY

Epidia Technologies is a specialized consulting firm focused on CVD diamond technology, thin film coatings, advanced materials, and process development. The company is led by Dr. Rahul Ramamurti, a materials scientist with expertise in plasma physics, nanotechnology, Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), and the development of diamond, DLC, SiC, and SiCN coatings for industrial applications.
 

Dr. Ramamurti earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and completed postdoctoral research at Michigan State University and Fraunhofer USA. His experience spans diamond growth technologies, advanced coating development, optical materials, and applications serving industries including electronics, energy, manufacturing, and advanced materials research.
 

Through Epidia Technologies, he provides technical consulting, process optimization, technology development, and strategic guidance for organizations working with single-crystal diamond, polycrystalline diamond, thin-film coatings, and related advanced materials.
